All checkpoints are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
Island wide |
100km route around the whole of the Isle of Wight mainly following the Round-the-Island cycle route and takes minor roads and lanes where possible. It is way-marked by white cycle on blue island signs which are numbered at strategic points. Each cyclist is given a Round-the-Island cycle route map with easy to follow directions to enable the rider to see the best of the Island scenery. Join at any of the checkpoints. |
Mini-Randonnee |
The mini-randonnee 30km route is around the East of the Isle of Wight using the Alverstone, Havenstreet and Bembridge checkpoints. Join at any of the 3 checkpoints and follow the map on the checkcard provided. |

Refreshments |
Enjoy the refreshments provided by the PTAs of Bembridge and Yarmouth schools. Riders will be able to purchase ‘soup and a roll’, a variety of sandwiches and delicious cakes together with cups of tea etc. Please note that food is not available from checkpoints not designated as feeding stations |
Certificate |
All participants completing the 100km Randonnee or the 30km Mini-Randonnee will receive a Randonnee certificate. |
Badges |
At completion, celebrate your success. This year’s badge is a green island on an orange background, available for just £2.50 |
Safety |
Cyclists are reminded that this is a fun event and not a race. Please take special attention to the requirements of the Highway Code and show consideration to other road users. The Wayfarer Cycle Touring Club (IoW) cannot accept responsibility for injury to or losses from any participant. |
